I grew up on a farm in Yorkshire, so I knew about the origins of food from an early age.  I would spend hours on the combine harvester and I would weigh the pigs for market with my Dad.  I loved being outside and learnt how the seasons affect the food we eat.  

My mum taught me how to cook. I remember helping to make family meals at a young age.  Mum is still on hand when I need a fail-safe recipe or some advice about cooking times or preparation techniques.  You could say that food runs through the family blood,  My brother and his wife run a small chain of fabulous deli cafes in Yorkshire and my sister also has a catering and events company in Yorkshire.  We can and do regularly spend hours talking about our favourite subject and unsurprisingly, most of our get-together's involve lots of food!

After studying agriculture at Nottingham University,  I worked in the food industry, sourcing fresh fruit and vegetables from farmers in the UK and overseas, however after having my children in 2010 I wanted to begin my own venture doing what I love most, feeding folk, and This Little Piggy was born.

Meet Georgie…. A self confessed cheese addict with a dairy intolerance, which just about sums her up…. Nothing gets in the way of this girl when she is on a mission. She LOVES all things weddings, she is here to help you to realise your hopes and dreams for your big day. Georgie is on this journey with all our couples and she is currently planning her own wedding as well as those of all our clients at Little Piggy.
